New Local Link Routes to Boost Student Accommodation in Letterkenny
An upcoming workshop between Donegal County Council and Local Link will highlight the need for additional bus routes around Letterkenny.
According to Councillor Donal Coyle, the shortage of public transport in certain areas of Letterkenny limits student accommodation availability.
“There are so many people who have rooms available but no transport,”
Cllr Coyle explained that transport was the main obstacle for many people wanting to offer rooms when the Atlantic Technological University (ATU) appealed for student accommodation.
