Fatal Crash in Dodge County
A 64-year-old Janesville woman died following a crash in the Town of Burnett on Friday morning, according to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Cty Hwy I and Cty Hwy E at around 11:26 a.m. The woman was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Blazer northbound on Cty Hwy I when she entered the intersection.
A 66-year-old Randolph man was driving a 2005 Sterling dump truck westbound on Cty Hwy E. According to law enforcement, traffic on Cty Hwy E has the right of way, with Cty Hwy I posted with stop signs.
Preliminary investigation has not yet determined whether the Blazer stopped at the stop sign or not.
