Gas Prices Expected to Drop Below $3.00 a Gallon
Analysts predict that gas prices will soon drop below $3.00 a gallon, a first in four years.
Both AAA and GasBuddy forecast lower prices at the pump, with oil prices dropping below $60 a barrel.
According to AAA, the national average has dropped to $3.057 a gallon, a decrease of over 5 cents from the previous week.

- One month ago, the average was $3.186 a gallon.
- Last year, the average was $3.203 a gallon at this time.
AAA attributes the lower prices to decreased gasoline demand after the summer travel season and cheaper winter-blend gasoline.
