Hell at the Masquerade kicked off their October lineup with Sextile, an electronic “bass punk” duo.
Their performance was intoxicating, with flashing lights, breath-hitching bass drops, and arms bouncing in every direction, throwing the crowd into a state of madness.
Before Sextile, Automatic, a trio, played songs from their new album, “Is It Now?”, getting the crowd loose for the headliners.
Automatic’s sound is lighter and softer than Sextile’s, but not lacking in energy.
There were flashing lights of all colors, breath-hitching bass drops and arms bouncing in every direction.
Author’s summary: Sextile’s performance was electrifying.
