Valley Prepares to Build New Early Learning Center

A new early learning center is set to open in Valley!

"I feel really lucky",
north of Spokane, aiming to improve child care in the rural community.

The 13,000-square-foot facility, funded by bond district savings and grants, will offer year-round child care, special education, and transitional kindergarten.

The project is expected to cost around $10 million and will be located near the Columbia Virtual Academy.

"To be able to have the opportunity to do something like this is amazing,"
said Candace Harris, director of the current Valley Early Learning Center.
