Top multicultural talent will light up the stage at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, November 4, 2025.
Fusion Beats 2025, hosted by Wilfrid Laurier University’s Hub for Community Solutions, Laurier International Student Support, the City of Brantford, and the Downtown Brantford BIA, promises an electrifying evening of diverse music and dance performances. Additional funding comes from Laurier Brantford Grants.
Admission is free and open to the public.
“Art, culture and community engagement are key priorities in the City of Brantford’s Inclusive City Strategy,” said Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis. “Fusion Beats is an opportunity for local performers to shine while celebrating the diversity that makes our city so vibrant.”
Now in its third year, Fusion Beats attracts hundreds of attendees from both campus and the wider community. The lineup features a variety of community-based and student performers, including line dancing groups and Hindi rap artists.
“As exciting as it is performing at Fusion Beats, I also look forward to hearing and seeing the other musicians and performers,” said Akhil Prabhu, a Laurier student and self-taught classical guitarist. He will appear for the second time, performing Latin and flamenco rhythms.
Fusion Beats 2025 offers a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity through music and dance, fostering community spirit and showcasing local talent in Brantford.
