Stephanie Davis opened up to her Instagram followers ahead of her breast removal surgery, sharing her deep concerns and reflections on her decision.
The 32-year-old Hollyoaks actress admitted she worried she might not wake up after the procedure. In a candid video from her hospital gown, she revealed she hadn’t slept the night before due to anxiety.
“I've not slept last night worrying, but I know I'm in safe hands.”
Stephanie described her breast implants as “horrible” and “massive,” explaining she had them because she lacked self-worth and believed bigger breasts would boost her confidence and attractiveness.
“I basically had no self-worth and thought, if I get big boobs, I'll feel more confident, sexy, I'll be more attractive. And [I wish] I could go back and never have got them done. But hey, ho.”
The mother of two reflected on how her perspective has evolved. She acknowledged she once made drastic choices without fully understanding their impact on her body.
“You do things, willy nilly, not realising how drastic they are, all the effects it's gonna have on your body. I wish I could go back and never touch my body because I was perfect the way I was, but I couldn't see that then. So now I'm going back, trying to go back to the way I was.”
Stephanie Davis courageously faces her fears and embraces self-acceptance by removing implants she once thought would bring confidence.
