About the Remembrance Day Kitbag

The Remembrance Day Kitbag offers customisable tools to help plan and conduct commemorative events. It features an order of service, example speeches, musical suggestions, the Ode of Remembrance, as well as veterans’ reflections and historical insights about the day.

“Our Remembrance Day resources are designed to support you in commemorating Remembrance Day in a way that is personal to you.”

The Kitbag also includes educational and creative activities, providing a thoughtful way to engage communities of all ages. All materials are freely available for download on the Anzac Portal.

Commemorative Pack Distribution

To extend national recognition, commemorative packs containing posters, educational materials, and a 2026 calendar have been distributed to schools, ex-service organisations, and community associations across Australia.

The 2025 Remembrance Day poster honours the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Office of Australian War Graves (OAWG).
