David Kampf's Current Situation
Kampf, who spent this season in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Marlies, has one assist in four games. He was waived before the season started. Despite earning $2.4 million against the salary cap through next season, Kampf's cap hit on the Leafs' books is $1.25 million while in the AHL.

He’s a young guy who the Toronto Maple Leafs have time for and they are in no rush to move him out.
