Arkansas Baseball Tops Little Rock in Exhibition Game
On Friday night, Arkansas baseball secured an 8-1 victory over Little Rock in an exhibition game at Baum-Walker Stadium.
Maika Niu and TJ Pompey each homered, with Niu hitting a grand slam in the bottom of the fifth inning against Little Rock's Malcolm Brown.
“He's really taken to the outfield and he can beat you in so many ways,” Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn said of Niu. “He's got a lot of tools.
The Razorbacks will play Dallas Baptist on Saturday at 1 p.m. to close out their exhibition weekend.
Niu's grand slam traveled 373 feet and exited his bat at 103 mph, putting the Razorbacks in command.
