Liam Gallagher, the Oasis frontman, strongly criticized a fan who ignited a flare during their recent show in Melbourne, calling the act dangerously reckless.
After completing their UK tour, Oasis performed six shows in Australia, including at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium. During the concert on Thursday night, a fan set off a flare in the mosh pit while the stadium roof was closed.
“That was naughty. Naughty, naughty, naughty.”
Liam addressed the crowd on stage shortly after the flare incident, wagging his finger in disapproval.
The next morning, Liam posted a harsh message on X, condemning the fan’s reckless behavior:
“To the massive C*** who launched that flare into the crowd last night at the gig in Melbourne you are one seriously f***ed up individual and you will get yours trust me.”
Among the 50,000 attendees, several fans witnessed the flare going off during the song "Champagne Supernova."
Fans questioned the effectiveness of security measures, given the dangerous object was brought inside the venue unnoticed.
