World Leaders Adopt Doha Declaration to Boost Social Development Efforts
Amid rising geopolitical tensions and growing social divides, global leaders convened at the Second World Summit for Social Development on Tuesday to adopt the Doha Political Declaration. This marked a renewed commitment to promote justice and inclusion worldwide.
The Declaration represents a united pledge by governments to:

- Create decent work opportunities
- Combat discrimination
- Expand access to social protection
- Protect human rights

The Summit gathered over 14,000 stakeholders, including more than 40 Heads of State and Government, 170 ministers, international organization leaders, youth representatives, civil society members, and experts.
