Three Arrested After Police Raids Uncover Illegal Drug Sales in Baltimore
The Baltimore Police Department's Southeast District Action Team concluded a months-long investigation into illegal drug sales, resulting in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of a large quantity of drugs and related items from two smoke shops.
Investigation Details
The investigation started after a 311 complaint reported illegal marijuana distribution. It ended with the execution of search and seizure warrants at two Baltimore businesses:
- Pulaski Convenient, 401 N.
- EMonument Convenience, 2108 E.
Police Operation
Detectives, with support from BPD's SWAT, Baltimore City Sheriff's Deputies, and Maryland Alcohol, Tobacco, and Cannabis Commission agents, conducted undercover purchases. They recovered approximately:
- 65 pounds of marijuana
- 205 vape products
- 1,113 individual packages of marijuana
- $63,500 in U.S. currency
Arrests and Charges
The following individuals were arrested and face charges related to illegal drug sales:
- 22-year-old Muslim Ahmed
- 33-year-old Magdi Elroubat
- 37-year-old Mohamed Ahmed
