The House of Menander (Casa del Menandro) is temporarily closed to visitors due to maintenance work. This closure will remain until further notice.
Alternative Attractions Available
Starting November 5, 2025, visitors can explore the House of the Lovers and the Fullery of Stephanus (Fullonica di Stephanus) as alternatives.
On Thursdays, the outdoor House of the Triclinium will open as the "House of the Day" ("Casa del Giorno"), replacing the Fullonica for that day.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this temporary closure.
These changes ensure continued opportunities to experience Pompeii's heritage during the House of Menander's maintenance period.
