The First 'KPop Demon Hunters' Dolls Are Here—But There's a Huge Catch

Mattel has officially unveiled its KPop Demon Hunters dolls, and while the designs look stunning, buyers will need to be patient. Pre-orders open through Mattel Creations on November 12, but the dolls won’t ship until next fall.

“The dolls are estimated to arrive by October 2026,” according to Mattel.

Anyone planning to give these as holiday gifts will need some creativity — perhaps printing an IOU for a Christmas stocking. At least they will arrive before the newly announced sequel, though it’s still a long wait.

The Catch: You Can’t Buy Just One

For this first release, the dolls are available only as a full set, not individually. Fans must purchase the complete trio of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. The exclusive three-pack, called “What It Sounds Like,” retails for $150.

With their intricate detail and high-end finish, the dolls look more suited for display than play. This level of design explains the higher price tag typically associated with Mattel Creations releases.

More Options Coming

Those hesitant to buy all three should not worry—Mattel plans additional toy releases in 2026, including more affordable versions. Fans are also hoping to see Huntr/x doll editions in the “How It’s Done” outfits, as well as versions that perform “Golden.”
