Batting first, Pakistan started aggressively as opener Abdul Samad hit a six off Yasin Patel’s second ball. Patel struggled early, bowling three wides in the first over. Khawaja Nafay supported the charge by hitting a six on his first delivery, helping Pakistan score 26 runs in the opening over.
