Jetstar is preparing to expand its flight network by introducing international services from Avalon Airport, starting with Bali as the first destination.
The low-cost airline is upgrading its aircraft with new crew rest areas to enable longer routes, enhancing its ability to serve more destinations and strengthen Qantas Group’s network advantages.
The inaugural Avalon–Bali flight is scheduled for March 23, marking an important milestone for the airport as it welcomes its first overseas route.
This expansion targets Melbourne’s rapidly growing western corridor, now extending toward Geelong, where increasing demand for convenient travel options is driving Jetstar’s strategic growth.
