Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski made an explosive entry into Misfits Boxing in Nashville, securing a knockout victory in the fourth round over Netflix reality TV personality Kelechi “Kelz” Dyke.
The fight drew attention due to the major age gap between the fighters. Arlovski first won the UFC interim heavyweight title back in 2005, when Dyke was just 11 years old. His experience and composure were apparent from the start as he controlled the exchanges against his younger, physically imposing opponent.
This marked Arlovski’s third contest since leaving the UFC last year, following wins in BKFC and Dirty Boxing matches that both ended by doctor’s stoppage. From the opening bell, Arlovski pressed forward aggressively, seeking an early finish.
Dyke managed to hold his ground in the first two rounds, even forcing Arlovski to briefly draw on his MMA instincts. Later in round two, Arlovski’s clean right hand shifted momentum in his favor, though questions remained about his finishing power.
By the end of round three, Dyke was showing signs of fatigue and damage. With just over a minute left in the fourth round, Arlovski connected with a powerful right hand that dropped the British fighter instantly, sealing his victory in emphatic fashion.
“Arlovski blasted out Kelz with a big right hand that sent the Brit down instantly.”
Arlovski’s debut in Misfits Boxing showcased his enduring power and experience, as the veteran fighter delivered a decisive fourth-round knockout against a younger reality TV challenger.
