Man Charged with Manslaughter Following Fatal Assault in Southwark
A man has been charged with manslaughter following the death of Michael John Edwards, 42, in Southwark in September.
Officers were called to reports of a disturbance involving a group of men at 02:55hrs on Saturday, 13 September. Police attended the scene with the London Ambulance Service and a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Michael John Edwards sadly died in hospital on Wednesday, 17 September. His family is being supported by specialist officers.
Lewis Macleod, 36, has been charged with manslaughter.
