The Philadelphia Medical Examiner's Office has issued a report reaffirming its ruling that the 2011 stabbing death of Ellen Greenberg, a 27-year-old Manayunk teacher, was a suicide.
Greenberg was found with 20 stab wounds in her apartment on January 26, 2011. The report, authored by Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Lindsay Simon, states that Greenberg would have been capable of inflicting the injuries on herself.
The family's attorney called the report "an embarrassment."
