Saskatchewan Roughriders Secure Top Spot in the West
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have clinched first place in the West Division, allowing them to rest key players.
Jake Maier will start in place of Trevor Harris when the Roughriders visit the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Friday.
“It has been a great year for us, obviously,”
said Jake Maier after Monday’s practice. Maier noted that this position allows opportunities for other players to showcase their skills and build momentum for the playoff run.
