Juventus' Plans Delayed as Thiago Motta Turns Down Real Sociedad
Juventus had hoped to terminate their contract with Thiago Motta, but their plans have been put on hold.
The 43-year-old manager was appointed in the summer of 2024, but had a disappointing eight-month tenure before being let go in March.
Motta's contract, which runs until June 2027, has a net salary of €3.5 million, and he remains on Juve's payroll along with his technical staff.
He was handpicked by the club's former Football Director Cristiano Giuntoli, following his achievements at Bologna.
Thiago Motta has been linked to several dugouts since his departure, but no concrete developments have occurred.
