US Sanctions Against NIS Won't Cause Crisis
Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic stated that the conversation between President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and Chairman of the Gazprom Neft Board of Directors Aleksandr Dyukov was honest, open, and constructive.
According to Djedovic Handanovic, citizens have no reason to worry about an energy crisis due to the US sanctions against NIS (Petroleum Industry of Serbia). She told RTS that the Government will continue to work on finding a solution regarding NIS.
"We will continue to talk and work to find a solution. There will be no energy crisis,"
said Djedovic Handanovic. She emphasized that Serbia has always been a good destination for investors and that the Government will look for constructive solutions with partners.
Djedovic Handanovic expressed satisfaction with the available options, ensuring that the sanctions won't cause a crisis.
