Leo Borg Wins Second ATP Match in Stockholm
Leo Borg, son of tennis legend Björn Borg, has won his second ATP match ever at the Stockholm Open.
Leo, 22, entered the tournament as a wild card and expressed pride in his level, stating
"but consistency has not been my greatest side".
His father, Björn Borg, is one of the greatest tennis players of all time, with 11 Grand Slam wins at Wimbledon and Roland Garros before retiring at 26.
Leo, ranked 633 in ATP rankings, has mostly competed in the ITF World Tennis Tour due to injuries, but achieved a best rank of 334 in 2023.
His second ATP win came against Sebastian Ofner at the BNP Paribas Nordic Open, with his first win being against Elias Ymer at the Nordea Open in July 2023.
Leo described his first Stockholm win as
"so special".
