Pedophile Rock Star Stabbed to Death in British Jail
Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins was sentenced to 29 years in prison for child abuse in 2013.
Two men have been arrested over the murder of Ian Watkins, who was serving a 29-year sentence for child sex offences in a British jail.
Watkins was stabbed to death on Saturday at HMP Wakefield in West Yorkshire. A statement from West Yorkshire Police said:
“At 9.39am this morning, police were called by staff at HMP Wakefield reporting an assault on a prisoner. Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.”
A source told The Sun:
“Watkins has been killed in the most brutal way possible – and the attack was shocking, even by prison standards. He was targeted by another inmate who shanked him in the neck.”
