Mattel Executive Shares Reaction To MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE Director's Cut Screening
Masters of the Universe is one of 2026's most highly anticipated movies, and Mattel's Robbie Brenner has shared her reaction to a recent screening.
After the success of Barbie in 2023, grossing over $1.4 billion worldwide, Mattel is bringing more franchises to theaters, including the live-action Masters of the Universe movie.
"I went and visited the set last year, and out of all the movies that I’ve worked on in my entire life — even Barbie — it was [the biggest]. I think we took over two or three sound stages. [Characters] walking around that are eight feet tall."
Robbie Brenner, President of Mattel Studios and Chief Content Officer, reflected on her experience visiting the reboot's set.
