In the past, DC was known for its incredible horror comics, with classic runs like Saga of the Swamp Thing and John Constantine, Hellblazer.
These horror stories showed a new perspective of the DC world and scratched the itch for darker or creepier stories while keeping classic superheroic elements.
However, in recent years, the amount of horror comics from DC has decreased significantly.
DC already has the best character they could ask for.
