Puppy Stolen from Fairfield Pet Store
A 12-week-old Yorki puppy is missing after a woman ran out of Petland, a Fairfield pet store, with the animal, according to the Fairfield Police Department.
The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. when the woman, wearing a mask and pajama pants, took the puppy from the store on Dixie Highway.
- The woman entered the store at 7:15 p.m. with a large white bag.
- She asked an employee if the dog behind the glass was a Yorkie and requested to visit with the puppy.
- The puppy, named Toto, is a black and tan Yorkie valued at $4,099.
The woman got into a white SUV near the back of a nearby UDF and drove away.
