An interview with Ludacris about his new designs for Movado, his watch collection, and 25th anniversary in the music industry.
The Grammy winner tells Bustle about his Movado collab, plus which of his Fast & Furious co-stars has the best watch game.
Most kids’ first watches involve some form of cartoon character or superhero. Even as a child, Ludacris already had style, rocking a yellow-gold timepiece.
“My dad bought me a Movado watch when I was young. I was probably 6 or 7 years old,”
the “What’s Your Fantasy” rapper tells Bustle of the gift that spurred his lifelong interest. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to hold onto it.
“I don’t [have it anymore],” he says. “It got lost in the shuffle of life somehow.”
