Western Kentucky Football is reclaiming the iconic "Zombieland" celebration as they debut new helmets.
The Hilltopper football equipment staff started a trend in the 2022 season by putting the Western Kentucky mascot, Big Red, on their helmet, taking social media by storm.
- In 2023, the Tops went viral for having Big Red decals for all position groups on their helmet.
- In 2024, the Hilltoppers wore all red uniforms with the mascot’s eyes on their helmet.
This year, the team combined the celebration with the legendary mascot to create the next big sensation.
The ‘Zombieland’ celebration was created right on the Hill of Western Kentucky University.
