Condo Fire Under Investigation in Moneta
A condo fire at the Bridgewater Condos is currently being investigated by the Franklin County Fire Marshal’s Office, according to the Moneta Volunteer Fire Department.
Fire crews from the Moneta Volunteer Fire Department, Franklin County Fire & EMS, and Smith Mountain Lake Marine Fire Rescue responded to the scene, with Engine 8 and Truck 8 operating on a working fire.
The fire, which was initially reported on the roof of the condo, was quickly brought under control, resulting in minimal damage to the structure.
No injuries were reported, and no residents have been displaced, according to firefighters.
