Misconduct Hearing of Firearms Officer Collapses
A misconduct hearing for the firearms officer who fatally shot Jermaine Baker during a foiled prison break has been discontinued.
The Met Police officer, known as W80, was accused of using excessive force in the shooting, which occurred on 11 December 2015, near Wood Green Crown Court in north London.
The incident happened as police stopped a plot to snatch two prisoners from a van.
The officer, known only as W80, shot Jermaine Baker dead.
The hearing's collapse marks the end of the proceedings against the officer.
