Architects Sharon Johnston and Mark Lee designed the 'Biboni' sofa for Knoll, drawing inspiration from 1970s design icons and the Michelin Man, also known as Bibendum.
The "Biboni" has a chubbiness that feels welcoming and informal," says Johnston. "It also has the precision and purity of a centrepiece in a room.
The 'Biboni' sofa collection features curves that envelop the body and a frame that appears to float, available in various configurations, including two-, three-, and four-seaters, as well as sectionals with chaise options.
Author's summary: Knoll's 'Biboni' sofa combines 1970s style with modern sophistication.
