Canopius Appoints New Head of Reinsurance in London
Canopius has appointed Rachel Webber as head of reinsurance, UK, a newly created role aimed at advancing the group’s reinsurance strategy in the London market.
Webber joins from Trans Re, where she was a senior vice president and head of non-marine, and will report to Aloïs Rouffiac, UK chief underwriting officer and active underwriter at Canopius.
Her appointment strengthens Canopius' UK reinsurance ambitions as the group looks to expand its treaty reinsurance business.
This new hire is part of Canopius' efforts to expand its presence in the London market.
