Collier Baker is a key figure in the LaGrange High cross country team, fresh from his individual county championship.
“My number one priority is helping the team make state,”
Baker said, expressing his determination to support his team. The team has not made it to state in two years, and Baker wants to change this.
“We’ve been on a team state drought for two years now. The girls have been doing great and have been really successful, but I want to know what it feels like for the boys’ team to make state.”
To achieve this goal, LaGrange needs to finish top 12 at sectionals on November. As a leader, Baker sees the potential for the team to end its two-season streak of missing state.
