Jay Shah is stepping down as CEO of Edelman Financial Engines after more than two years, remaining with the company until the end of the year in an advisory capacity.
Ralph Haberli, who joined Edelman as president in June, has taken on the role of acting CEO, bringing experience from Capital Group, BlackRock, and the Boston Consulting Group.

During Shah’s tenure, Edelman’s AUM grew by over $50 billion, with client numbers remaining high at around 1.3 million, and strategic purchases of Soundmark Wealth Management, Cahill Wealth Management, and Hasenberg Financial Group.
