New Galt Exhibit Based on Personal Choices

The Galt Museum, with over 17,000 artifacts in its archives, invited 100 people of all ages to select their favorite items for its latest exhibit, Treasures and Curiosities.

Nearly 200 artifacts are on display, each accompanied by an explanation from the person who selected it, ranging from tools used by the Blackfoot people to historic items like medical equipment and trophies, including an 80-year-old pickle jar with pickles.

Tyler Stewart, curator at the Galt Museum, says his favourite part of the exhibit is seeing the reasoning behind the choices made, especially in the youth section.

Author's summary: The Galt Museum's new exhibit features artifacts chosen by 100 people.
