Get Protected This Winter
Dudley's deputy mayor, Councillor Mushtaq Hussain, is encouraging people to get their flu jab this winter.
Councillor Hussain received his vaccine at the Well Pharmacy on The Northway in Sedgley on Thursday, October 9.
Flu spreads more easily in winter as we spend more time together indoors and sadly this can cause serious illness.
Councillor Hussain got vaccinated to help protect himself and those around him, and to promote the value of the flu vaccine to others in his age group.
- People aged 65 and over
- Pregnant women
- Individuals in long-stay residential care
- Those with certain health conditions
Councillor Hussain urges eligible residents to take up the offer of a free jab, as it is an important free service offered to thousands of people across the borough every year.
