American Crews Join the 2025 Rolex Middle Sea Race in Malta
The 46th annual Rolex Middle Sea Race, a 606-nautical mile journey, will set sail on October 18, 2025, in Malta.
The race, hosted by the Royal Malta Yacht Club, begins and ends in the Grand Harbour of Valletta, Malta, and features a diverse and challenging course around Sicily, the Strait of Messina, Stromboli, Pantelleria, and Lampedusa.
This year's American entries include Varuna, a Cookson 50 skippered by Chris Hemans, and Final Final, a PAC 52 owned by Jon Desmond and skippered by Russell Whitworth.
