Centre to Support Mango Farmers
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited ICAR–KVK Vellore, Tamil Nadu, to address the concerns of mango farmers affected by a price drop.
He assured that all eligible farmers in the state will be linked to the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana for maximum benefit.
Efforts will be made to set up value-addition units to address the price decline caused by surplus mango production.
This move is part of his “One Agriculture - One Nation - One Team” initiative, aiming to support farmers and improve their livelihoods.
