Pope Leo XIV emphasized that the supreme rule in the Catholic Church is love, which compels all faithful to serve, rather than judge, exclude, or dominate others.
No one should impose his or her own ideas; we must all listen to one another. No one is excluded; we are all called to participate.
He also stated that
no one possesses the whole truth; we must all humbly seek it and seek it together, during his homily at a Mass in St. Peter's Basilica.
The Mass marked the closing of the Jubilee of Synodal Teams and Participatory Bodies, held from Oct. 24-26.
