Major Drug Bust in Sault Ste. Marie
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has made its largest drug bust in history, seizing over 10 kg of drugs valued at $1.4 million.
A joint forces operation with the Ontario Provincial Police obtained a search warrant and seized the illicit drugs and cash from a multi-residential unit on Princess Crescent.
- 3.77 kg of suspected fentanyl, estimated at $754,390
- 2.75 kg of suspected cocaine, estimated at $274,815
- 4.14 kg of suspected methamphetamine, estimated at $413,735
- 62 tablets of suspected oxycodone, valued at $620
In addition to the drugs, police seized $124,000 in cash and a 2023 Hyundai Sonata as offence-related property.
