Rostov's Coffee Shop Under New Ownership
Tammy Rostov, the former owner of Rostov's Coffee & Tea, had a challenging time finding a buyer who would carry on the legacy of her father's coffee shop, which was started nearly 50 years ago.
“There were maybe 12 people who came through to look at it. Of the 12, she was the only one who was a customer and was excited about it,”
Tammy Rostov said of the new owner, Dima Easterday, who was the only one among 12 potential buyers to express genuine enthusiasm for the shop.
“You have an image of your business and what you created. Until Dima came along, it felt like people wanted to turn it into a hookah lounge or burrito bar,”
Rostov said, highlighting Easterday's passion for preserving the shop's original character. The store features a coffee bar and sells bagged coffee and tea.
