International Students' Scholarship Contracts to be Tightened
Thousands of international students in Hungary may face tightened scholarship contracts due to the ELTE scandal.
A recent incident at ELTE involved historian Alexander Yakobson, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, being silenced during a lecture on October 16.

The lecture series, still available on ELTE's website, was disrupted by students wearing keffiyehs, who shouted that the lecture was political propaganda supporting Israeli genocide.
The university's security failed to restore order, and the lecture was halted.
