Upgrading to the New Windows Start Menu
Microsoft has introduced a new Start menu for Windows, addressing a long-standing issue that required an extra click to view all installed apps.

Original Start Menu Limitations
The original Start menu displayed a list of shortcuts to apps and files chosen by Windows, with a Recommended section below the pinned apps list.
Customizing the New Start Menu
To disable the Recommended section in the new Start menu, users can right-click anywhere in the menu, select Settings, and then toggle off the options to:
- Show recently added apps
- Show recommended files
- Show recommendations for tips
The new Start menu saves you a click with a more convenient layout.
