Several area teams are ready for state tournaments in football and volleyball.

The Moscow Bears booked their first state volleyball tournament berth in three years by upsetting regular-season league champion Lewiston in loser-out play at Districts before overcoming Pocatello in a five-set Class 5A play-in match.
