Sherwood Park Rams U16 Season Ends in Close Playoff Loss
The Sherwood Park U16 Rams' season came to a close on Saturday, Oct. 25 with a 12-10 loss to the top-ranked Spruce Grove Cougars in the first round of the Capital District Minor Football Association's 12-side Tier 1 Morgan Division.
According to U16 Rams head coach Bill Nyszczuk,
"We saw four full quarters of football from the team... The team played very well together in all three aspects of the game: special teams, offense and defense."
The game, played at Clarke Park in Edmonton, saw the Cougars open the scoring with a deep pass that led to a touchdown.
