Sherwood Park U16 Northstars Advance to Finals
The Sherwood Park U16 Northstars are looking to add another title to their legacy. Competing in the Capital District Minor Football Association's nine-man Mills Division, the Northstars secured their spot in the finals after a 18-12 win over the Millwoods Grizzlies on home turf in Emerald Hills.
Key plays included a touchdown by Eli Berard, who ran up the middle, and another touchdown after picking up a Grizzlies' fumble and running almost 80 yards. Quarterback Lukah Dyrland also ran a 60-yard touchdown.
