After 6 days of fun and a final half-pot total of over $2.5 million, the West Side Nut Club began their annual cleanup.
Many booths reported record sales, with the proceeds going to various organizations in the Tri-State. The booths have been removed, and street sweepers have taken their place.
“It comes and goes, it’s a little tough sometimes depending on the number of people and that kind of thing, but most of the time it’s smooth,”
stated a helper from Matthew’s Church, who has assisted with moving their trailer for over 20 years.
Approximately 300 active West Side Nut Club members and 100 honorary members participated in the cleanup process.
