Harwood Music Dept.'s Annual Citrus Sale
Harwood Union Middle/High School's annual Citrus Sale is now open for orders. Each fall, instrumental and chorus students collect orders for bulk quantities of oranges and grapefruits, as well as specialty snack peanuts.
"We have done this for decades, and it's a great way to bring delicious fruit and nuts to our communities while supporting music scholarships for all of our music students,"
explained music teacher Molly Desrochers. The offerings include navel oranges, Ruby Red grapefruit, butter toffee peanuts, and honey crunch peanuts.
- Navel oranges: $30 for 20 lbs
- Ruby Red grapefruit: available in bulk quantities
- Butter toffee peanuts and honey crunch peanuts: available for order
Community members can place an order by seeking out a Harwood music student by Nov. 14. The shipment order will be placed with a supplier in Florida in November, with delivery expected in early to mid-December.
